Gothic Story

So feeling a little bored, I decided to whip up a quick gothic/horror story. It is pretty short, and I`m not the best writer. Please comment and notify me of any typos.

 

The waves rolled in they crashed the stony beach of Stoeaway Cove. The wind howled around the girl as she stood there looking over the sea. It swirled, rippled and rose to cause foam leaping from the waves and being swept by the wind to the girls face. She looked at her watch, He was late. As usual. Beth didn't`t like the place. Like all places they had met it was eerie. The wind was howling and lighting illuminated the beach. There was another flash. She was looking down the beach. Beth thought she made out a figure, a cloaked one. This was the last place she wanted to be. Her clothes were soaked through, clinging to her like they were afraid of the night too! Then out of nowhere, the sound of a recording being turned on. There was crackles, Then Glen Miller came on with Moonlight Serenade. She whirled around. Beth made out a faint light about 500meters down the beach. It looked like a house. As soundly as the music started, a high pitch scream cut through the night. She made out the black hooded figure leaving the house. Beth feared the worse. She now had the urge to scream. However, She could sense somebody behind her. Beth heard the steps get closer and closer. She saw from the reflection in the water who was behind. Now she knew it was all over…
