As promised in my last diary entry there would be a few stories to come! Here is the first of them. Take a guess at what you think It’s about, I don’t think you will predict correctly! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed writing and planning it. Well here it goes!
David was an average person. He was a year nine at school in the UK. David was a bad sleeper, He often dreamt illusions that would sometimes come true. It was raining outside. The rain pounded the dull glass of his room. David lived in an average house down an average street. It was night. From outside the house there was a faint light from his room. David was typing away frantically trying to finish coursework that was due in tomorrow. He decided to call it a night and glanced around to his alarm clock. It was set for 5:30AM. He clambered into his bed and settled in. The red L.E.D’s from the clock lit up the dull room. The rain continued to pound angrily at the window. David felt un-eased. He sensed something was wrong but couldn’t put is finger on it. He shrugged it off and started to doze off.
Outside people were gathering silently in cloaks. They looked around and then saw the final member strolling towards them. If you were there it would have certainly been eerie. They glanced cautiously around making sure nobody was awake or watching. The cloaks were pulled tightly over their faces, It was clear they didn’t want to be seen. One pulled out a sheaf of papers and handed them round. Nobody talked, Nobody moved. Their heads just stayed bowed as they glanced at the papers. One must have have thought how are they communicating? This street that was so full of life at day had a completely different side. Then out of nowhere, A flash. No noise just a bright light filled the street. Once the light had faded it was clear to see they had gone. Vanished.
David woke up. He felt slightly dazed and felt strange. He glanced around towards his alarm clock and pressed the button to light up the display. 3:21 AM. Then just as strange as the first flash, another. This time the cloaked figures were in his room, Not the street.
